The Blattner brand was founded in 1984 by Mathias Blattner from Germany.

Mathias has kept European culture birds, (American) species and tropical birds for more than 30 years. The problem was that there were no good seed mixtures so the birds did not stay in good condition and it was difficult to breed.

For this reason, Mathias came up with the idea to produce birdseed mixtures that are specially adapted to the needs of the respective bird species, so that the birds are optimally fed and remain in perfect condition with breeding results.

The results did not go unnoticed and brought Mathias into contact with many interested bird breeders. In close cooperation with many bird breeders, perfect seed mixtures have been created and the Blattner brand has become a fact.

The starting point for Blattner is to achieve the highest possible seed quality and to bring a perfectly balanced seed mixture onto the market. Every bird in captivity deserves the best that nature has to offer!
